Jermaine Rodriguez, known as Pastor J to most, serves as the music pastor at Westover Hills Assembly of God in San Antonio, Texas, leading an almost 300-member worship ministry. Outreach Magazine recently named Westover Hills as one of the 100-fastest-growing churches for the third consecutive year. Pastor J has been part of that growth in his 10 years serving at the church. Pastor J has a Bachelor of Arts in Performance and Music Education, and is currently working toward a Master's in composition.
Jermaine’s ministry goes beyond the four walls of the church. He has a pastor’s heart and a musician’s soul. He has a passion for developing people and leaders, and not only among his own staff and volunteers. Pastor J travels to churches both large and small, sharing his experience and encouraging music ministries to reach their fullest potential. He’s eager to impart knowledge gained from overseeing a ministry composed of a choir, event choir, varsity orchestra, rhythm section, audio engineer and assistants, Spanish choir, Spanish rhythm section, Spanish orchestra, full-time and part-time staff, interns and a large volunteer leadership team.

He and his wife Eunice just celebrated 20 years of marriage, and are blessed with two wonderful kids, Nikko, 19, and Jordyn, 16 and have 4 dogs "Chief" (Great Dane), "Sophie" (Dachshund) "Frank" (Dachshund) and the newest addition to the family "Buddy"(miniature Pomeranian).
